Why do the soft treats contain chicken fat? After the treats are baked they are rolled in chicken fat and coated with probiotics. The chicken fat's main purpose is for the function of getting the probiotics to stick. The reason we roll them after they get baked is because if we did it before, it would kill the live bacteria in the probiotics deeming them ineffective.Ā

Good treats for a good price, she loves them.
Our terrier mix, who is fussy about her treats, really likes these. I think she prefers a softer treat to a crunchy one, and these do the trick. The beagle, of course, likes them, too, but she eats cat poop...
The only downside to these chicken and waffle treats is that humans are tempted to give them a try since they smell so wonderful, just like home cooked waffles! Our 1 year old pug loves them! Also, we use them as good incentives for her obedience training! We will be repeat buyers for this wonderful treat!
Batman loves his chicken & waffle treats! They are soft baked and smell like syrup. My older chihuahua, Penny, even loves them too and she is a picky girl. These are great for an afternoon snack and they work great as a meal topper, too.
