Why Chewing Is Enrichment

Chewing is one of the most natural and powerful enrichment activities for dogs. It releases endorphins, reduces cortisol (the stress hormone), and satisfies the instinctive need to gnaw — making it especially effective for dogs with separation anxiety, high energy, or destructive chewing behaviors.

A Toy That Outlasts Them All

Does your power chewer destroy every toy in minutes? The SodaPup Headstone Nylon Dog Chew Toy is made for exactly that dog. Its compact, solid nylon form gives aggressive chewers no weak points to exploit — no stuffing to pull out, no rubber to puncture, no squeaker to destroy.

The distinctive headstone silhouette provides a comfortable chewing grip for dogs of all sizes, while the textured nylon surface gently works against tartar and plaque as your dog chews. It’s the kind of simple, focused enrichment that keeps even the most anxious or high-energy dogs calm and occupied.

Made in the USA with non-toxic, FDA-compliant nylon. The Headstone proves that serious durability doesn’t have to come at a serious price — it’s SodaPup quality at an entry-level cost, making it an ideal first nylon toy or backup chew for multi-dog households.

Nylon Material & Care

Sodapup nylon is very durable, but no dog toy is indestructible. The nylon is hard but designed to be softer than a dog's teeth, giving way before dental damage. Roughening and wearing down with chewing are normal wear and tear. Always supervise use, inspect the nylon before and after each session, and replace it when damaged or excessively worn. For mixed-material sets, this material and wear guidance applies only to the nylon components; follow each item's specific use and safety instructions.
